Jim Hinson is a Supervisor V at the New Hampshire Department of Education, Vocational Rehabilitation with the responsibility for establishing community partnerships with NH Business owners and other community leaders to assist in efforts to recruit, hire, retain, and promote the hiring of people with disabilities. Under Jim Hinson’s leadership, he has established strong community partnerships with state and local government agencies, non-fore profits, and the business community to successfully establish community employment programs for people with disabilities.
Jim retired from the U.S. Coast Guard in 2004 after 21 years of service, has two grown sons and now lives in Loudon, NH. When not working, Jim enjoys exploring New Hampshire, hiking, listening to Jazz, volunteering, antiquing, colleting art, attending live shows, trying new restaurants, traveling and spending time with his family and friends.
