Public Service of New Hampshire

As a founding member of NHBSR, Public Service of New Hampshire (PSNH) believes that a company's success should not come at the expense of community outreach and responsible business practices.

For more than 80 years, the company's employees have been keenly aware of the relationship between the service that they provide and the communities in which they live and work.  The company actively promotes community involvement and encourages a culture of volunteerism through sponsorships and programs.

For the past decade, PSNH has been a leading proponent of renewable energy and an active supporter of New Hampshire's environmental organizations.  When its new biomass power plant began operation in 2006, PSNH demonstrated that clean energy can be a positive addition to New Hampshire's economy, as well as its environment.

With an eye on the economic future of the state, PSNH works on New Hampshire's development both internally and externally.  The utility recognizes that the connection between businesses and communities goes beyond just poles and wires, and seeks to strengthen it whenever possible.

PSNH has maintained these relationships in New Hampshire with a holistic approach to corporate responsibility.  At Public Service, being a socially responsible business is not a choice or an expectation, it's just how business is done.
