V'ice Haiti addresses two critical social issues in developing nations: unemployment and vitamin deficiency. After witnessing tremendous levels of poverty during his travels all over the world, founder Marc Blumenthal created the Social Ventures Foundation to foster entrepreneurial, innovative, and sustainable social ventures focused on ending poverty to those at the bottom of the pyramid. The organization started in Haiti because it is the poorest nation in the Americas.
V'ice employs people at the bottom of the pyramid as self-employed micro-franchisees to make and sell affordable vitaminized products to others at the bottom of the pyramid. By 2020 the program will b able to produce about a million V'ice products per year, working towards a world where no one is without a job or without proper vitamin supplementation.
