Our company conducted pioneering work in the use of plastic tubing for maple sap production. In addition to our own maple orchards we rent groves at other nearby New Hampshire locations. Bascom Maple Farms is one of the largest producers of pure maple syrup in New England. We are a major supplier of maple products to packers, distributors, manufactures, retailers, and others in the food business. The Bascom farm is located on 3,600 acres high in the hills of New Hampshire near the Connecticut River. The Bascom family has been producing maple syrup since 1853. Over seven generations the farm has grown to include large maple groves, a major dairy, and other agricultural operations. We have operated commercial syrup production and packing facilities for over 40 years. Our People The principals of the business are Bruce and Elizabeth Bascom. Other family members are active in the business. Bruce Bascom's entire career has been devoted to the maple industry. Bascom family members are experienced in all aspects of sap harvesting, syrup production, packaging, and distribution.
